The global economy has undergone a transformation that has shaped our lives in ways that we are only now starting to understand. While many are grappling with the skills gap and some the “future of work,” there has been no consistent national dialogue that is by business, for business in confronting the opportunities and challenges facing today’s workforce.
The Chamber Foundation believes the free enterprise system has been, and will continue to be, the single greatest promoter of opportunity in America. Developed in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's International Affairs Division and Chamber Technology Engagement Center, the Opportunity Project collaborative white paper calls on businesses, workers, and the government to embrace the new economy, analyze the challenges we face, and identify the roles and the solutions that will lead to the path forward towards managing the opportunities and risks that come with change and help us thrive.
