The race to vaccinate America continues, with companies of all sizes doing what they can to make it easy for people to roll up their sleeves and get one of the safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines.
We’re tracking some of the things businesses are doing to accommodate workers and incentivize those who make the choice to get vaccinated against the novel coronavirus.

Cash Incentives
Amazon
Amazon offers $80 to front-line employees getting the COVID-19 vaccine. This benefit is on top of the $2.5 billion invested in special bonuses and incentives for their teams globally over the last year, and the $11.5 billion invested in COVID-19-related measures overall.
Bolthouse Farms
Bolthouse Farms pays $500 to full-time hourly workers who get COVID-19 vaccines.
Kroger
Kroger provides a one-time payment of $100 to all associates who receive the full manufacturer-recommended doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Lidl
Lidl gives U.S. employees $200 in extra pay if they get a COVID-19 vaccine.
Childcare
Bright Horizons
Between now and July 4, families can secure free back-up childcare at a Bright Horizons early education and childcare center while they receive their first dose, second dose, or if they need time to recover from side effects of the vaccination.
KinderCare
Now through July 2, new families can reserve a free day of care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years (for each vaccine dose) at one of over 1,500 centers nationwide.
Learning Care Group
Once you’ve scheduled a vaccine appointment, call 833-459-3557 to arrange for childcare on that date. Two days of complimentary childcare are also available for those who need assistance while recovering from common side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine. These opportunities are available through July 4, 2021. Schools are open every week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Major League Soccer
Major League Soccer offers a 30% discount for in-stadium merchandise purchases and a sweepstakes to win a trip to the 2021 All-Star Game.
National Football League
National Football League offers a 25% discount on merchandise and a drawing for a chance to win 50 tickets to Super Bowl LVI.
Safeway
Safeway offers 10% off your next grocery purchase with any vaccination.
Free Products
Anheuser-Busch
Anheuser-Busch pledged to buy Americans 21 and over a round of beer once 70% of U.S. adults are partially vaccinated.
CVS
The CVS sweepstakes is open to patients who received their COVID-19 vaccination at a CVS Pharmacy or who plan to by July 10. Prizes include a $5,000 Hinge gift card, VIP package for two to attend iHeartRadio Music Festival, seven-day cruise for two, VIP trip for two to Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles, a fully escorted international tour for two, and a seven-night getaway at a Wyndham Resort.
Krispy Kreme
Anyone who shows their COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card will receive a free original glazed doughnut.
Kroger
If you receive at least one dose of the vaccine at a Kroger Family Company or by a Kroger Family Company healthcare professional at an off-site event, you can enter into Kroger’s $5 Million Giveaway. Five winners will receive $1 million dollars and 50 winners will receive free groceries for a year.
Major League Baseball
Major League Baseball and its 30 Clubs work with their local healthcare provider or a national pharmacy provider to host vaccination events. Unvaccinated fans are eligible to receive free tickets to a game if they get a COVID-19 vaccine.
Gift Cards
DoorDash
DoorDash donated over $3 million in gift cards to bolster local outreach and encourage community vaccination efforts across the country.
Publix
Publix gives its employees $125 gift cards when they show proof of vaccination.
SavaSeniorCare
SavaSeniorCare offers cash to 169 of its long-term care facilities to cover the cost of incentives, such as gift cards or socially distanced parties, to encourage vaccine uptake.
Leading by Example
Stanley Black & Decker
Stanley Black & Decker CEO Jim Loree received his vaccine and shared his experience during a regular podcast with employees, “I’ve been waiting a year like all of you for a vaccine, and I have to say we are so fortunate that our corporate community, especially companies like Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson, worked hand in hand with healthcare providers to develop the vaccines and to make sure that there was a way to distribute them effectively. It’s so important for all of you to be equally as excited and enthusiastic about getting your vaccine when your turn comes up. They’re all safe, and they’re all effective.”
Walmart
Walmart U.S. President and CEO John Furner released a video of his vaccination with the following statement, “I got my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine! The team at Store 5260 made the process so easy and Pharmacy Manager Roger made it painless. We all want to get back to seeing our friends and loved ones, so we all need to do our part. A good reminder for our associates - if your store is administering vaccines, you can get your shot while on the clock. If your store isn’t, you can take up to two hours of PTO to go get vaccinated!”
Paid Time Off
Allstate
Allstate will provide paid time off to all U.S. employees for time taken during working hours to get each COVID-19 vaccine dose.
Chobani
Chobani announced that employees would be compensated for up to six hours to receive COVID-19 vaccine doses.
Dollar General
Dollar General offers a one-time payment of four hours of regular pay after receiving a completed COVID vaccination.
JPMorgan Chase & Co.
JPMorgan Chase provides eight hours of paid time off to employees.
Target
Target provides up to four hours of pay (two hours for each vaccine dose) to hourly team members when they get their vaccines.
Transportation to Vaccination Clinics
Lyft
Lyft offers free rides (up to $15) each way, to and from vaccination appointments.
Uber
From May 24 through July 4, Uber offers four free rides (up to $25 each) to and from vaccination appointments.
