More than 2,200 people have died and at least 12,000 injured following a 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti on Saturday, August 14. The earthquake destroyed thousands of buildings and hospitals are severely overwhelmed struggling to treat injured patients. Coordination Call
The U.S. Chamber Foundation hosted a coordination call on August 18 to hear from government and multilateral, as well as business and nonprofit partners responding to the earthquake (first half of the call) and domestic events in the U.S (second half of the call).
