Tens of thousands of Afghans have been evacuated from the country, however, at least 1,500 American citizens and thousands of Afghans who fear retribution from the Taliban remain in the country. The business community is responding to support the rescue mission and resettlement of Afghan refugees, including companies like Airbnb, Walmart, and Verizon that have committed to provide housing, jobs, and other essential aid during this uncertain time.
To help individuals and families who have arrived in the U.S., here is a list of organizations that are responding to immediate needs, such as housing, utilities, food, and more:
