WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation today named the finalists for its annual Citizens Awards – 30 companies that have shown outstanding leadership in driving solutions to the world’s biggest problems, from promoting civic engagement in the workplace, to delivering lifesaving medical supplies during humanitarian crises, to improving access to mental health care for underserved populations.

"American businesses are constantly redefining innovation," said Michael Carney, president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. "The Citizens Awards highlight companies that turn challenges into opportunities. These finalists aren’t just solving problems—they’re building stronger, more resilient communities. Their work demonstrates how business can generate real, lasting impact that benefits all of us."

Awards are presented in nine categories, reflecting the wide-ranging impact of business in communities. This year’s finalists are:

  • Best Corporate Steward: Large Business

  • Best Corporate Steward: Small and Middle-Market Business
    Finalists: glassybaby LLC, Imagine Deliver, Vector Global Logistics
  • Best Commitment to Education Program
    Finalists: DuPont, i2M, Samsung Electronics America, West Virginia Chamber Foundation
  • Best Community Improvement Program
    Finalists: Creature Comforts Brewing Company, Johnson Outdoors, PNC Financial Services Group
  • Best Community Resilience and Disaster Response Program
    Finalists: American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, AT&T, Flexport.org, Google, New York Life Foundation
  • Best Economic Opportunity and Empowerment Program
    Finalists: Capital One, Entergy Corporation, The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America
  • Best Health and Wellness Program
    Finalists: Edward Jones, Subaru of America, Inc., Teva Pharmaceuticals, USA, Inc.
  • Best Sustainability Program
    Finalists: Cascade, Ecore International, Southwest Airlines
  • Best Civic Engagement Program
    Finalists:Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Microsoft, The Travelers Companies, Inc.

Citizens Awards winners will be announced during the Business Solves Conference on October 29-30, 2024, in Washington, D.C.
