Dionna Stokes

Dionna Stokes is a manager for The Civic Trust® at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation­. She collaborates with various stakeholders on the Foundation’s annual Naturalization Ceremony and the National Civics Bee®, an annual competition that encourages young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities.

Her passion for civics stems from her role as a Citizenship Instructor for a community-based organization and an adult charter school. Prior to working at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Dionna was an Academic Advisor for an Embassy in Washington, D.C., and has held various positions in higher education and nonprofits in Ohio and Louisiana.  

During her graduate studies, Dionna served as a Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS) intern for the Department of State, which allowed her to virtually teach English as a second language to adult learners in Eritrea and provide admission coaching to Fulbright Scholars from Afghanistan.

Dionna earned a BA in International Relations from Kent State University and an MS in International Relations - Global Student Mobility from Northeastern University.

In her spare time, Dionna enjoys fashion modeling and traveling.
