Daniel Dzodin

Daniel Dzodin is a non-traditional educator, lifelong learner and proud graduate of Pittsburgh Public Schools and the University of Pittsburgh. He recently served as a Senior Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh Center for Urban Education Heinz Fellows Program from 2018-2021, leading teams of young and dynamic educators at local schools, including Westinghouse and Milliones University Prep. In addition, Daniel worked as a coordinator for CUE’s Ready to Learn, a math focused program for middle school students which explored the intersections between science, math, and social justice. A firm believer in the utility of education as a tool for exploring identity, dismantling inequality, and building bridges across diverse communities, Daniel also previously worked within local organizations such as the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and Literacy Pittsburgh.
