Caitlyn Aversman
- Associate Manager, Programs
Caitlyn Aversman is associate manager of K-12 education programs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. On the team, she supports efforts like the Commerce Meets Classroom series and manages the Business Leads Fellowship Program. Now with 400 members, the Business Leads Fellowship Program is a meaningful way local chamber leaders can be trained up and supported as they look to make a difference in education and workforce issues in their region. Caitlyn was motivated to join the team in January 2025 because of the relationship and solution-focused approach of the Business Leads network.
Before then, she managed the education policy team at the American Enterprise Institute where she supported research reports and publishing and led summit events. Caitlyn also interned for the U.S. Senate Rules and Administration Committee. And, in her home state of Missouri, she had been a long-term substitute teacher and taught remedial mathematics and science courses to middle school students during summer semesters.
Caitlyn graduated from John Brown University in Arkansas with a B.S. in Political Science and minors in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and Social Studies.
