
Brittany Scott
- Senior Manager, Policy, Early Childhood Education
Brittany Scott is the Senior Manager, Policy, Early Childhood Education at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. She leads efforts to support the early childhood education portfolio, collaborating with state and local chambers to develop innovative solutions to childcare and workforce challenges. Brittany also drives the development of strategic initiatives that advance the Foundation’s mission to create solutions for the greater good.
Brittany has worked on and studied a wide range of education issues both domestically and internationally. Before joining the Foundation, she focused on leveraging policy to advance high school redesign efforts in her role as a project manager at XQ Institute. She has also worked at the DC Public Education Fund, where she managed grants supporting district-wide innovation on behalf of DC Public Schools. As a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Rustenburg, South Africa, she served at a secondary school where she led the overhaul and revamp of her host school’s library in addition to implementing several initiatives to encourage the development and growth of the English language for learners.
Brittany graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Howard University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. She also earned a master’s degree in education policy and analysis from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Brittany is an avid runner in the DC running community and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
