WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) and Salesforce announced today that after a significantly successful pilot year, the Salesforce Fellowship Program will continue into 2021 and will now accept transitioning service members. In the past, the program was only available to veterans and military spouses.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its founding as an organization to connect veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses, and military caregivers with meaningful employment opportunities.
We launched “Beyond 34: Scaling Circularity for a Sustainable Economy” five years ago to understand the barriers and opportunities in recycling and recovery optimization in U.S. cities, and what role the private sector is playing to increase collection and materials reuse at regional and national levels. Today, we are excited to announce that we are not only bringing Beyond 34 to new regions, but also offering a crowdsourced Recycling and Recovery Resources Hub so more stakeholders across the nation can access critical resources to prepare their communities for a sustainable future.
Africa will lead the world in population growth by the end of the century, nearly doubling over the next 30 years. The rapid expansion complicates valiant efforts to eradicate poverty, combat hunger and malnutrition, and to cope with a changing climate and dramatic weather patterns. Dairy Nourishes Africa (DNA) is building a 15-20-year public-private partnership to address some of these challenges through the power of dairy and drive the accelerated transformation of African dairy industries.
In 2018, the Kentucky Chamber Workforce Center launched a statewide initiative seeking to build high-quality talent pipelines that foster economic growth.
